Delivery Terms

At time of delivery, buyers are responsible for the following delivery conditions: All furniture is thoroughly inspected at several key points in our preparation and delivery process to make sure it is received in good shape. If you have chosen to pick your furniture up yourself from one of our warehouses, we encourage you to inspect the item before you take possession. The driver will require the buyer or his/her authorized agent to sign a physical inspection report and delivery receipt. It is critical that the purchaser or his authorized agent notes (in his/her own words)on delivery receipt any damage to the box before they inspect the product and accept the shipment. If the box shows ANY SIGNS of carrier mishandling: hole(s), crushed corners, dents, worn tops, bottoms or edges, scraping, dirt, etc., the buyer/agent must note the exact description of each carton on the physical inspection report and delivery receipt. In the rare occurrence that an item arrives damaged on delivery or is otherwise damaged before your possession, please notify the delivery team or a customer care representative of the cost. For furniture, arrangements will be made for a qualified repair technician to come to your home and correct the damage. For home décor, arrangements will be made to exchange the item. Please note: we reserve the right to repair or replace your furniture as deemed necessary and solely at our discretion. Once buyer/agent notes the condition of the box(s), they should inspect the product. If upon further inspection the buyer/agent notices first or unacceptable levels of damage to the product, they can then sign the delivery receipt and physical inspection report and give a detailed description of damage uncovered. Buyer must then call Richport Designs customer service 800-717-3090 within 24 hours to make us aware of the situation. If a suitable replacement is not available, a refund (including shipping) will be issued in the form of the original payment method.

Return Terms

Richport Designs takes every step possible to ensure orders arrive in the best condition possible. All shipments should be inspected upon delivery, and any claim should be made within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise. Items that are not damaged are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and Return Authorization (RA) must be obtained from Richport Designs no later than 48 hours after receipt of merchandise. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Buyer is responsible for repackaging and return transportation. Returned items must be shipped back to Richport Designs in its original packaging, with no signs of use, wear or damage. Upon receipt, Richport Designs will inspect the package for any damage and reserves the right to partially or wholly accept or deny returned merchandise.

Price Match Policy

Items eligible for Price Match must have a published online price by an authorized dealer. Items must be in stock at the competitor and available for immediate delivery. The Price Match cannot be used in conjunction with any other coupon or project pricing offers, nor does it apply to limited-quantity offers, auction sites, eBay, classified ads, manufacturer's rebates, closeouts, clearances, bulk quantity items, or typographical errors. Products must be first quality, all new, factory-sealed, of the same brand, style, and SKU. Richport Designs reserves the right to consider any applicable tax and shipping charges when offering the Price Match. All price matches are at the discretion of a manager, and the manager can deny any price match for whatever reason. Richport Designs does NOT guarantee all price matches that are received.

Defective Items

If a defect is discovered and confirmed, Richport Designs will replace the defective part at no cost to the buyer,If a suitable replacement is not available, a return will be authorized, and after the return is completed, a refund will be issued in the form of the original payment method.Returns will only be accepted in original boxes, and Richport Designs will not be responsible for any return transportation fees incurred. Items will not be eligible for return without original packaging.

Concealed Damage

It is the buyer’s full responsibility to inspect an item before signing and accepting delivery thoroughly. If the damage is discovered after signing for delivery without any notation, Richport Designs will not be responsible for any replacement or return.

Replacement Orders

Transportation for replacement orders is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Richport Designs will not ship a substitute unit on our account but will provide the item to the purchaser at no cost to arrange their transportation (excludes “pick up” orders or “concealed” damage orders).

Color Disclaimer

Due to the limitations of desktop scanners and the relative inconsistencies of various display monitors, as well as printing papers, the colors you see on your screen or in a catalog may not be an entirely accurate reproduction of the actual product. We strive to make our colors as accurate as possible, but images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolutely correct. The be way is always to have something on your floor displayed, for most nice coloring.

Special Orders

We are proud to offer quality products with great value to our customers. Merchandise received in good condition is not returnable or cancelable. No refunds are available. Special order dates are not guaranteed. A 50% deposit will be needed to initialize a particular order. Special orders may not be canceled for any reason. The 50% deposit is not refundable since we do not regularly stock the item you are special ordering.
